This was a site created to bring an extended family closer together. Like most families these people live all across the country and beyond. With “Our Flowering Tree” they can easily upload and share family photos in a private family directory. No more fighting over who has the photos of grandma! Now everyone does. The family forum is a place where family members can share private news. Also, the front page could easily be turned into a RSS news feed where the quotes are.

What we did:
Logo
flash gallery
css/html
zen photo private albums
lefora forum
family youtube page

Myspace

Though myspace is quite dead for most it isn’t dead for musicians. A lot of musicians want a website that they can easily update with shows information without needing to know how to do a lot of code. Even if you have another website it’s still important in the music industry to have a myspace page.

Though in the past we’ve created NUMEROUS myspace pages these are our two favorites:
Michto Pelo Myspace
Tommy Davy

stephenrdavyviolins.com

Stephen R. Davy Violins is a curious website for a curious little music shop in Laguna Beach California. It was constructed primarily out of old sheet music from the Duke University Historic Sheet music archive. It could be a bit oddball for some but the weirdness about this site doesn’t end with old paper. There’s actually a ghost in it! When we cut the girl out of the old portrait (taken from a Civil War antiques shop website) in photoshop only her face mysteriously reappeared later! Do you see her face in the 1st photograph? Take close look! We wonder if there are any other ghosts on other web pages.

What we used:
HTML
Flash Photo Gallery
CSS

Currently this page is being totally re-done by us for a more “commercial” look and also the client moved his store. We wish every site on the internet were as weird as this one. It’s our dream but we know it’s a bit much for people. People like boring things. This site had the business in mind but also art. We wanted to convey a mysterious love of the violin and that ultimately all violins are made from trees and horses (the glue and the bows). There’s something special about violins that brings us closer to nature.
